Gay Health and Beauty, Observations from a Barstool, with Phoenix
I'm Phoenix and I am a club kid with lots of observations and opinions about life, love, relationships, gay health and beauty, drugs, bar etiquette and much more. Make sure to check my 3D anaglyph images and personal biography while you're here.
Nails: Clean your nails for God’s sake! You don’t have to have an expensive manicure to have nice nails but you really need to keep them clean and trimmed. I love to work in my Uncle Aaron’s garden and my nails get full of dirt. I have a stainless steel nail file next to the bath and while I’m having a nice soak after gardening, I clean my nails with it. First I scrape my nails over my bar of soap. Then, I let them soak in the warm water a bit and scrape the soap out with the file along with the black dirt.

Feet: Okay, you keep your fingernails trimmed and clean but you neglect your feet. Feet can be beautiful and are a huge erogenous zone! Don’t you want your’s sucked? If so, keep your toenails trimmed and clean as well. The more you tend to them, the better they will look. Trust me, there’s almost nothing better than a tongue bath on your feet.

Clean your belly button: If you have an innie belly button you may need to know that it needs to me cleaned. If you haven’t cleaned it for awhile, stick your finger in it, twirl it around and then smell it. It smells a bit like a dirty ass doesn’t it? Well, clean it out when you shower or bathe so that when someone is giving you a tongue bath, there are no unpleasant surprises.

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. I don’t want to hear, “I’m young enough that I don’t have to worry about it.” If you start moisturizing when you are 25 you will look better at 30, 40, and at 50 they’ll guess your age at 38 – and that’s without surgery!

I suggest two types of moisturizer, the one in the large pump bottle (that you shouldn’t use as lube) and the smaller 4 oz. jars of face moisturizer. You don’t have to spend a lot of money by buying these items at a designer store, just get them at Walgreens or CVS. For the face cream, just make sure it has a decent concentration of vitamins, Aloe, Tea Tree oil, etc. The all body moisturizer in the pump bottle again should be chosen for ingredients such as vitamins, Aloe, Tea Tree oil, etc.

The 4 oz. face moisturizer is the most important and should be applied before going to sleep each night. The body moisturizer should be applied to your entire body after a shower or bath. You will be surprised how your body will just suck this stuff in.
