I have been creating fine art for around three decades now and I wanted a way for my creativity and art to be available to everyone. After doing several searches on the Internet for gay erotic eCard or eGreeting sites, I found little to nothing. Since I had already created Aaron, his friends and his adventures for Aaron’s Lavender Leviathan as well as all the photographs I have taken during my long career, I realized that I had the beginnings for an email Greeting Card site.
The idea came just in time, as I needed to find a way to fund my free gay informative, fun website, Aaron’s Lavender Leviathan www.aaronsgayinfo.com. I also wanted to create a card site that pushed the boundaries a bit – I’ve always pushed the boundaries.
I needed to create an environment and card selection that the GLBT community could enjoy and send with pride and with a “tongue in cheek” attitude on to friends. It’s hard to include the erotic cards we love as well as g-rated cards (that are equally as fun and beautiful), and still remain somewhat discreet to the recipient of the card. Well, I try my hardest. If someone has a problem with the card you send or with the site, then it’s their problem not yours.
I hope that I am able to give something back to the Gay Community with this eCards project. I add new cards monthly and for every holiday so, visit often. I hope to help all of those GLBT individuals out there who need gay humor, creativity, acceptance, love, pride, gay art, and awareness.
About Our Card Content
All the cards on Aaron’s Digital Dudes are created by nationally known artist Bruce Cegur – that’s me. The cards on this site include beautiful art photos of flowers, animals, landscapes and glimpses into my vintage world and the current world around me as well as my famous art pieces. The site also includes cards re-created from Vintage Hollywood and cards that are of an erotic gay nature using my 3D creations starring Aaron Rush and his many friends, which also include wonderful, mythical creatures. All erotic cards are created with the “pin-up” style in mind and could only be considered pornographic by small-minded people.
In the current political climate, I felt that I had to create eCards that were humorous, creative, a bit controversial and that fit the gay lifestyle. If you’re not creative, open-minded and a free-thinking person, don’t bother becoming a member.
I keep the main page of the site free from “naughty bits” so if your Mother wants to respond to your eCard it won’t be quite so “in her face.” It’s also more “office” friendly. You can find all the G-rated cards by typing the word safe in the search field and clicking on the go button. All free cards are G-rated, you must be 18 years of age and become a member to send cards of an erotic nature.

instructions below to edit My Account:
1. If you are not already signed
in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. Click on the "My Account" link in the Members toolbar at the
top of the page.
To Edit your membership
information: Enter the updated information and click "Update."
To Change your Password: Type in your new password in the "New
Password" and "Confirm Password" fields, and click "Update."
Address Book
Our members can store their
friend's information in their own Address Book. Please follow the
instructions below to access this feature.
1. If you are not already
signed in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. At the top of the screen click "Address Book" icon on the
toolbar.
3. A popup window will open - This is your Address Book.
To ADD a contact:
1. Click the "Add New" Button.
2. Enter the name and contact information (Real name, e-mail
address, display name (nickname)).
3. Click "Save" to store the information in your Address Book.
To EDIT a contact:
1. Click "Edit" to the left of the contact you want to edit.
2. You will see the full contact information for that person
displayed.
3. Click "Save" to save your changes.
To DELETE a contact:
1. Check the checkbox to the left of the contact you want to
delete.
2. Click "Delete" button. You can delete 2 or more contact name
at once.
To send a ecard using your
Address Book:
1. Choose a card you would like to send
2. At step 3 find and click on the "Open Address Book" button to
open your Address Book.
3. Check the contact name checkbox.
3. Click the "Insert" button and the e-mail addresses will
appear in the "To" field(s).
Calendar
All your stored Reminders,
special events and holidays can be viewed on your Calendar. Plan
your schedule and send eCard by clicking on the Reminder or
Holiday, which will link you to the applicable eCard category
page.
Please follow the instructions below to access the Calendar:
1. If you are not already signed in, Sign in using your user ID
and password
2. Click on the "Calendar" link in the Members toolbar at the top
of the page.
To ADD a new Event:
1. Choose the date on the Calendar table and click on it.
2. Enter the Event name, date, notes and click "Save".
To EDIT an existing Event:
1. Click on the "Reminders" link in the Members toolbar at the top
of the page
2. Click on "Edit" link to the right of the event you would like
to change.
3. Edit the information and click "Save".
To DELETE an existing Event:
1. Click on the "Reminders"
link in the Members toolbar at the top of the page
1. Check the checkbox to the left of the
Reminder you want to
delete.
2. Click "Delete Selected" button. You can delete 2 or more
Reminder name
at once.
Upload your own Photo
Back from vacation, got new
photos in your digital camera? Wouldn't you like to send them as
ecards, to your friends, and family?
1. If you are not already signed
in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. Click on the "Upload" icon
at the top of the page
3. Click Browse... button to get the right path to your
image file
4. Click "Upload Now" button to upload your image to our server.
Email Reminder
Our Reminder Notification service
is a convenient way to remember all the important dates of your
busy life!
Please follow the instructions below to access this feature:
1. If you are not already signed
in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. Click on the "Reminders" icon at the top of the page.
To ADD a new reminder:
1. Click "Add New Reminder"
button.
2. Enter the appropriate information and click "Save".
To EDIT an existing
reminder:
1. Click on the "Reminders" icon
at the top of the page
2. Click on "Edit" link (next to your Reminder Note) of the event
you would like to change.
3. Edit the information and click "Save".
To DELETE an existing
reminder:
1. Check the checkbox to the left of the
Reminder you want to
delete.
2. Click "Delete Selected" button. You can delete 2 or more
Reminder name
at once.
My Favorites
You can store your favorite
eCards in one convenient location so that you can easily send them
to your friends any time.
Please follow the instructions below to access My Favorites:
1. If you are not already signed
in, Sign in using your user ID and password.
2. Choose your favorite greeting card. Click on the "+Add To My
Favorite" link, which is located at the top right corner of every
ecard. Your eCard has been added to "My Favorites"
To SEND a eCard from My
Favorites:
1. Click on the "My Favorites"
icon at the top of the page.
2. Click on the eCard you would like to send.
3. Personalize the card and send it!
To REMOVE an eCard from My
Favorites:
1. Click on the "My Favorites"
icon at the top of the page.
2. Click "Remove" right below the eCard you would like to delete
from My Favorites.
Card History
Our members can view all cards
sent in the past 30 days. Members also have the option to view or
cancel cards that are scheduled to be delivered at a future date
(i.e. hasn't been sent yet).
Please follow the instructions
below to access Card History:
1. If you are not already signed
in, Sign in using user ID and password
2. Click on the "Card History" link in the Members toolbar at the
top of the page.
To VIEW a card: Click on
"View" next to the card (or the thumbnail picture) you wish to
view.
To CANCEL delivery of a card that is scheduled to be sent:
1. Click on the "Card History"
link in the Members toolbar at the top of the page
2. Click the "Cancel" link next the card that you do not want
delivered.

Problems - Computer Requirements: Certain systems are required in order for our site to function properly on your computer. Please look below to find out where to locate the browsers and operating systems that we recommend.
You will need at least Windows 95 or Windows 98. To see what version of Windows you are currently running, please click on the "START" button in the lower left corner of your desktop. Your version of Windows should be displayed along the left side of the menu that appears.
MAC
You will need OS9 or OSX (Ten). To find out what operating system you are currently running, click on the apple in the upper left corner of your desktop. From the menu that appears, select "About this computer." Your operating system should be displayed in bold letter in the screen that appears.
Unfortunately, Macintosh computers are not compatible with all of our site features. Functionality or products that include the download of a plug-in are not MAC compatible at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Most versions of AOL function well with our site. If you experience difficulty with the site, however, we recommend that you upgrade to AOL version 6.0. To find out what version of AOL you are currently running, follow the steps below:
1. Click on the AOL icon on your desktop to open a browser window.
2. Click on "HELP" in the gray toolbar at the top of the screen.
3. Select "About American Online".
4. Just under the graphic it should read "American Online" and the version number will follow immediately after.
AOL should send you periodic upgrades, or you can visit AOL's home page to download the most recent version that is compatible with your computer. ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS WITH AOL CLICK HERE!
INTERNET EXPLORER
We recommend that you use Internet Explorer versions 5.5 or 6.0. To find out what version of Internet Explorer you are currently running, follow the steps below:
1. Click on the blue "e" on your desktop to open a browser window.
2. Click on "HELP" in the gray toolbar at the top of the screen.
3. Select "About Internet Explorer"
4. Just beneath the graphic, look for "Version."
If you do not currently have one of the recommended versions of this browser, please visit http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.asp to download a newer version for FREE.
NETSCAPE
We recommend that you use Netscape version 6.2.1. To find out what version of Netscape you are currently running, follow the steps below:
1. Click on the Netscape icon on your desktop to open a browser window.
2. Click on "HELP" in the toolbar at the top of the screen.
3. Select "About Netscape"
4. A page should come up displaying the version of your browser.
If you do not currently have version 6.2.1, please visit http://help.netscape.com/netscape6/index.html to download the newest version for FREE.
Unfortunately, Internet appliances such as AOL TV, I-opener, I-PAQ, MSN TV / Companion, Pocketmail, WebTV, etc. do not have the capability to use the full range of features on our site. Some newer web appliances come with a version of the Flash plugin necessary to view animation. If you have one of these, you may be able to send and receive our online eCards.
Some programs meant to safeguard your computer, or programs that effect web browsing, can interfere with some of the features on our site. If you have any problems while on the site (such as logging in or downloading one of our tools), please try disabling your Anti Virus program and/or Pop up blocker, close your web browser, then return to the site. When you're finished using our site, be sure to enable your Anti Virus program and/or pop up blockers again. Egreetings.com is not responsible for any damages regarding the disabling of Anti Virus software. You do this at your own risk. Please be aware though, our websites are completely safe and our eCards are virus free & cannot be modified.
Some of the functions may not work and some information may not be available if you have the security level on your Internet Browser set too high. Your Security level should be set to Medium.
On Internet Explorer you can change or check your settings by clicking on Tools, then Internet Options, then Security. Click on Default Level, choose Medium and click apply.
Start by visiting our website at Aaron's Digital Dudes. Select a category from which to send a card - All Occasions, Flash Animated Cards, Holiday, etc. Browse through our cards and choose the one you would like to send.
Types of Cards:
FLASH
Flash is the most popular form of animation on the internet. To view Flash animations you must have the free, Flash plug-in click here. When choosing a flash animated card, do not add music to the card or it will replace the intended soundtrack of the animation. Flash animations are best viewed on computers with a DSL or High Speed Cable connection to the Internet, but can be viewed on dial-up. Each Flash animation has a preloader (loading… loading…loading…) at the beginning which will play over and over again until the entire animation is uploaded. This beginning will play only once on high speed connections but may repeat several times with Dial-up.
POSTCARD
Postcards are static jpg images or small gif animations and are quite suitable for Dial-up.
Step 1: Preview the card you choose.
If this is not what you want then
click button "More Cards" to go back and choose a different
card. If this is the card you would like to send to your friend,
click on "Go to next step" button.
Step 2: Design your postcard/Flash ecard layout
You will see three drop down
menus just like the samples below.
[Select Java] If you would like
to add a Snow or Rain or Happy Face.. effect to your ecard please choose the effect inside the Drop Down Menu [Select Java]. Do not use this feature on FLASH type cards or simple animation cards as it will replace the intended animation. Some of the more complex effects can create a short upload lag when the card is viewed on slower-type internet providers. You may select "none."
[Select Background below] It will change the background to a different look - Make sure the background is compatible with the card you are using. If you do not choose a background the default design, selected by our artist for each card, will be used.
[Select Your Stamp] The stamp
will be automatically updated for you when you choose. If you do not
choose a stamp the default will be used.
There options below allow you to add
Poetry
You may choose to add your own poem by
selecting it from the drop down menu where it says
"----Upload Your Poem Here ------" - A new window will pop up. You
will type in your poem, click preview poem, then save poem and close
this window.
If you want you can use one of ours or
none at all. Next choose font and alignment. If you do not choose
the default will be used.
Using our music
library
Upload your music file
By default our music library is checked and you will be able to choose from one of our many music selections. You can upload your own music from your computer by selecting "Upload your music file". If you choose this option follow the next windows instructions.
Do not add music to a FLASH animated card as it may replace the intended soundtrack of of the FLASH Card.
Click "Go to next step" button to go
to the last step
Step 3 - Personalize Your Ecard
Fill in all the required information,
including your name and e-mail address and the recipient's name and
e-mail address and a personalized message.
Then click on "Preview your ecard
before sending" button to preview the card first and make any
changes, if necessary. If you like how the card looks, then choose
the desired card delivery date. click on "Send Now" button to send.
You will receive an e-mail stating that someone has sent you a
postcard. In the e-mail message, there should be a web page link
(URL) which you can click on to automatically receive your card. Or
you can copy and enter the Card Number provided with the email on
our card pick-up page at:

Due to the nature of Aaron’s Digital Dudes eCard services, we do not offer refunds on subscriptions except in very rare instances where it can be verified that the user has not logged in and/or used any of the services offered by Aaron’s Digital Dudes eCards. We have worked hard to provide a large variety of cards to make the subscription price a true bargain.
Problems signing in after initiating new membership
If, after you have gone through the membership process, and then enter your email and password as prompted, you are taken to the Address Book Page, close the Address Book window and use the Sign in button at the top of the home page instead. Sorry for this inconvenience, we are working on this small glitch.
We have had several complaints from AOL users about not receiving emails from us. We suspect this is due to AOL'S new anti-spam software, and that AOL is automatically blocking our email addresses from users' email accounts. PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOUR SPAM FILTERING IS OFF BEFORE SIGNING UP, IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO RECEIVE RESPONSES AND CONFIRMATIONS FROM US. THANK YOU.
