It was an early autumn evening shortly after dusk, the moon was unusually full and a gray brown color, I had just finished watching " buffy the Vampire slayer " on television. There seemed to be something in the air that night, something calling to me. I began to wonder if vampire's could really exist. I live very close to Graceland cemetery in Chicago. It's a beautiful cemetery filled with famous people in large monuments and crypts. I had previously been to Graceland only during the daylight hours but tonight seemed to be just right for an evening adventure. If I was going to put my theory to the test I might as well dress the part. I ransacked my closet and costume trunk, looking for just the right outfit that would suit a vampire slayer. I did the best I could with what I had. I grabbed a large cross off my bedroom wall and a wooden stake from my workshop. I was ready to hunt vampires.
I received a couple of rather odd looks as I walked down the street to the cemetery, but this being the big city, no one said anything, except for the guy who said "Nice outfit" and winked. Once inside the gates, I noticed some movement by one of the open-style mausoleums. It looked like two men in outfits about as unusual as my own. One guy was actually wearing what looked like a full-length cape. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Could these guys actually be vampires? I decided to find out and crept as stealthily as I could toward the ominous gathering.
I thought I was pretty careful as I snuck up to them, but apparently they sensed my presence and seemed to be lying in wait for me. I couldn't believe my eyes, I seemed to be face to face with two actual vampires! One of the vampires was blond and seemed to be wearing a a smoking jacket with dark lavender pants. He was barefoot and his jacket was open to expose his nicely developed body. The other one, who seemed to be the master Vampire, was dressed in black pants and was the one wearing the full-length cape. He was completely bare chested with alabaster skin and long raven-black hair. They were both quite the hunks for being dead.
Gorgeous or not, these were no longer men but powerful evil creatures. With cross and a wooden stake in hand, I bravely approached the master vampire.
